Kemari is a standout defensive lineman, in 2023, he played in 13 games, recording 38 tackles, 4.5 sacks, nine tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup, contributing to his team's NJCAA Division 1 National Championship win. Ranked as a top junior college player for the 2024 class by Rivals and 247Sports, Kemari previously played at Army West Point in 2022, where he appeared in seven games. In high school, he was named Beach District Defensive Player of the Year, earning All-Beach District and All-Tidewater honors.
